Wingers Plans
These are the famous Winger Plans invented by Jim Szeszol, physics teacher extraordinaire and mechanical genius using two 10 foot PVC pipes cut to size and connected by T joints and corner pieces with no waste!
The design is isometric and can be scaled to any size, appearing in miniature form on the David Letterman Show to launch donuts into the audience, and in giant form launching water balloons over 2 football fields for generations of physics students!
Jim was smart, funny, creative, and knew how to not only spark his student's curiosity with his crazy contraptions and demos he designed and built, but to help them think deeply about how the world around them works by showing them with hands on demonstrations and laboratory experiences they couldn't forget! Jim would often share his ideas at conferences and workshops, and for his work in mentoring other teachers he was also featured on the cover of the 75th Anniversary Edition The Physics Teacher, January 2006, Volume 44, Number 1 of the AAPT (American Association of Physics Teachers).
